Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Responsibilities:

• • In partnership with the company’s CEO, establishing the company’s technical visions, developing the product roadmap and leading all aspects of the company‘s technology development

  • Manage development of the product in cost effective manner within quality standards

  • Prepare and revise engineering drawings, schematics, logic diagrams, and block diagrams based on sketches and other information prepared by engineers and technicians

  • Making sure the product can be made reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments

  • Design production and assembly processes

  • Manage activities so that product is developed on schedule and within cost objectives and meet market demands

  • Achieve optimum labor and material costs

  • Establish governance processes of quality control

  • Create technical reports

  • Communicate the company’s technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders

  • Solicitation of equipment and material quotations, technical details in regards to product requirements

Qualifications:

• • MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent with focus on Structural Engineering and Mechanical Design

  • Excellent skills of 3D CAD software, in particular the modelling and FE analyses aspects

  • Very good German and English language skills

  • Good experience in product design

  • Experience in simulations of wind loads is advantageous

  • Knowledge of material and manufacturing process

  • Knowledge of the Concentrated Solar Power (CSP), especially parabolic trough systems, is advantageous

  • Experience in optical raytracing software is advantageous

  • willingness to travel

Our offer to you:

We offer a gross monthly salary based on the collective bargaining agreement of EUR 2.500.- at least. Additional attractive compensation packages can be offered, depending on individual qualification and experience.
